​
I have a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University, one of the top 5 programs in the nation. After graduating I worked for three years treating addiction in the homeless population before branching off on my own and creating the EMDR and Counseling Center specializing in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem with EMDR which I did for around five years. I chose to rebrand to Black Sun Healing in 2024 due to moral disagreements with the therapy profession, which I believe is more concerned with job security and tradition than helping people actually heal, and a refocus on resolving this problem by finding more effective healing methods. The healing methods I use now are mostly of my own creation and are more effective than EMDR or any other healing modality I've come across; nevertheless, I am constantly seeking to improve them and find new ways of healing people even faster. Although leaving the profession was a social and economic risk, I find inspiration in this quote by Ghandi, "Be the change you wish to see in the world," which has been my phone's background for as long as I can remember. I choose to try and live a life that I can be morally proud of, even when it goes against the mainstream.

My greatest strengths as a healer are my passion for healing and my desire to learn. When I realized that healing meant a happier, more confident, and stable version of myself, and that I had complete control over it, I dedicated myself to it thoroughly. I have dedicated countless hours to healing myself with my own healing methods as well as those of others, including shamanism, plant medicine, and spiritual techniques. My exhaustive personal therapy has helped me understand healing on a level that very few people choose to engage with.

​Learning enables me to further actualize my passion for healing. I have learned and continue to learn as much as I can about different healing methodologies and techniques, even from different ideological frameworks. I've independently researched philosophy and religion in an effort to understand their perspectives on healing and have spent hundreds of hours studying both fields via books and podcasts including an extensive study of the scripture of world religions. I am currently studying electromagnetic waves and sound waves in hopes of using scientific principles to create new innovative and powerful treatment options.
It is my goal to one day own a healing center that provides effective healing services from as many diverse fields as possible for free.​
